Ogata Koi Farm was founded in the early 1970's by its owner Manabu Ogata, who studied Nishikigoi under Ichiro Mano, an iconic figure from Izumiya Koi Farm. Ogata now spreads over 13 hectares, with 9 fish houses and multiple mud ponds. Specialising in gosanke varieties, Ogata Koi Farm rose to prominence for their very high quality Koi in multiple varieties and has won many titles at shows, including champion at an All Japan Show.
